Licensing Information - Amateur Boxing Promoter

This license is for all people or organizations seeking to hold, give, or conduct contests or exhibitions of amateur boxing, including but not limited to Local Boxing Committees, sanctioning organizations, promoters, or boxing clubs. All people or organizations seeking to hold, give, or conduct contests or exhibitions of amateur boxing, including but not limited to Local Boxing Committees, sanctioning organizations, promoters, or boxing clubs, must be registered with USA Boxing, and hold a current license to promote amateur boxing in the State of Nevada. All other promoters of all other events, amateur or professional, need to complete the promoter's application.

To obtain a license as an Amateur Boxing Promoter you must submit the following to the Commission via mail or through our online licensing portal:

 

  • Completed Application
  • $25 License Fee
  • Copy of USA Boxing Certificate of Membership for year of the license
  • Copy of tax exempt letter from the Secretary of State, if applicable

 

Event Requirements

You must complete and submit the Request for Program Permit Form for your event date at least five (5) days prior thereto. (NAC 467.785 (6))

Any people or organizations seeking to host or conduct contests or exhibitions of amateur boxing are responsible for direct and timely payment to the ambulance service companies. For reimbursements, please complete the correct Reimbursement Form (AMBULANCE), attach Sanctioning Body approval, original receipt from Ambulance Service, proof of payment and proof of insurance for event.

 

A Request for Program Permit must be submitted timely to help to ensure that the cost of the ambulance is paid by the Commission. If you cancel a show, please notify the Commission immediately.
